Remove
Mildew
Remove mildew carefully from
fabrics
because you don't want to cause permanent staining or bleaching. I
often try to rub in by hand some Clorox 2. I start by taking an unseen
portion of the fabric like a shirt tail or the part of a sofa hidden by
the cushions and rubbing in some diluted Clorox 2. I let it sit a
little bit, then I rinse, then I let it dry. If the color stays fast,
then I will use the process to remove mildew.
I have a few very defined strategies to help you remove mildew in
my book, "How to Get Rid
of Black Mold".
